I'm feeling christmasy!!! I wanna do christmas things!!! Hot cocoa and peppermint!! Wearing sweaters and putting up christmas lights!!! I wanna feel the panic of not being able to think of a gift in time to buy it online and hoping it's still available in some store! Lemme wrap present badly with too much tape! Force me to watch horrible Hallmark movies bc it's the only thing on! How about some late night drives to look at the neighborhood decorations! 🎄🦌🎅⛄🎁💝

Puddings! These are one of my favourite pieces in the countdown. They are so effective. Plus I love Christmas pudding (so much better than cake!)

Stockings. I have tried making socks/stockings before and have always been scared off by the heal. But this one was soo easy to make and follow.

Peppermint candies. This pattern seems that it would be difficult to get the swirl, but once you get into the habit of picking up the ‘other’ yarn to finish the stitch it’s simple. I added a second round to these, with two stitches into each stitch of the first round. Swapping the yarn colours on the second stitch. Again make two and join together.

I love these happy little trees. Again I made 2 flat pieces, adding an embroidered mouth and eyes. I joined them with single stitch around making a 20 chain loop for hanging and stuffed lightly.

ONE SLEEP TO GO!

These little stars are so happy and the perfect addition to the top of any tree. This flat pattern is easily joined together and the addition of eyes and a cheeky smile make them adorable.

Vintage ornament.  These would suit a more traditional tree, with their vintage styling. Again I made two and joined them together, stuffing them a little.

Santa hats. So quick and easy to make, these are really effective.

Beautiful bows! These bows were so quick and effective looking. They hold their shape well and you could make in any size.

Bells today. I have to admit I don’t love these (and they don’t photograph well), but it was really difficult to find a bell pattern that I liked. This pattern is an old one with lots of variations.

Christmas candies! At first, the unusual way of creating these to get the twist was a little tricky to get a hold on, but once I got it was quick and easy. I really like how these turned out. I think you could probably make these larger as crackers.

These little lights were adapted by joining two together and crocheting through the joining sc’s to add the top and hanging loop. They seemed to lose a little of their point when joined and stuffed but I’m still happy with them.

Christmas paws. My nieces have just gotten a puppy so I thought they would enjoy some paws to decorate their tree. I used red and green sparkly yarn to make the pads.

Gift tags. I embroidered these with my niece's initials on one side. I struggled with the corners as shown in the pattern so ended up with more rectangular tags.
